PAL to NTSC with working menues, can it be done

a very puzzling process for me is how? I have Tmpgenc [both the encoder and dvdauthor] as well as maestro.. and ive tried the "changing the ifo info trick to no avail [would work on a dvdrw in my xbox or ps2]. so i guess the question is how do i do it and keep the 5.1 sound and are menues a casuality i should just for get about [as in should i just make the moviewitout them]

I have a few pals that id love to enjoy on my 5.1 system

The wasy way is to make the DVD region free. I would use DVDSHRINK and it will make it region free. 90% of DVD player's will change PAL to NTSC. Just burn with NERO

i HAVE AN OLDER PLAYER AND PLAYSTATION2 i KNOW XBOX WOULD PLAY IT BUT I KINDA NEED TO FIND OUT THE PROCESS AND HOW ,ALSO, NOT TO LOOSE THE 5.1 SOUND...THERES NO GUIDE HERE OR AT DOOM 9...HELP...WHY THE HECK DONT THEY MAKE A PRGRAM THAT IS DESIGNED TO DO IT IN ONE SHOT..UH] iVE ALSO TRIED THE "CHANGING FLAGS" TRICK TO NO AVAIL
