I am having troubles converting a couple files due to the audio not being recognized by the progs. that I use. Neither nandub, virtualdub or goldwave can handle the audio. Below is some of the file info and the errors that i received:

I have ac3 filter installed and have been able to hear many ac3 files. I have been reading a little about ogg vorbis and am wondering are these errors typical of not having an ogg vorbis codec or does any one have any suggestions that may help me be able to hear my files.

    Thanks in advance,

    VC

I think that code 0x2001 might be DTS audio. I don't know how to convert that, though, I've never used it.

  3. You might try AVICodec.

Thanks for the info guys. You guys are right, it is a dts file. Thanks for such a fast response. I love this place. Now hopefully I can get into work. Does anyone know which progs are used to convert audio to dts. This is new stuff for me.

Thanks again it's time to learn something new,
