  1. My DIvx file is 500mb, after encode using TMPGENC (NTSC template) with high quality, what size the MPG file will be? I just want to make sure that it will fit in 1 cd so i can burn to a VCD to watch it on a Standalone DVD Player

  2. How long is the movie? That's the important question. Not the size of the file. Is it a 2 hour movie with bad quality, or a 60 min tv episode? More info needed before we can answer you correctly.

Why not just encode it? Whats the worst thing that can happen - its too big. Big deal. Look at it this way: All the time you spend posting derogatory messages to everyone because they dont help you, is time that you could spend encoding your video. 4. Use a bitrate calculator and use the calculated bitrate in tmpg.
