  1. Not a poll here.

I agree that there is a great service in forwarding advice on this wonderful site.

But I'm curious about the cut and paste artists or those who claim an expetise without ever having tested products but are not shy when it comes to commenting or giving advice.

    Is this a service?

Actually, Baldrick is a right knowledgeable person too.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?

  11. Everyone who answers a thread deserves a pat on the back. That said the individuals who I think (their are others though) have probably most contributed to the site are:

Baldrick (site wouldn't exist without him)
Vitualis (always their with an answer)
Sefy (the writer of probably the most famous guide and all around nice guy)
Adam (great with the technical and legal sides)

Honorable mentions have to go to all the moderators (not me) and long time members though.

    (No particular order)

  12. hold up man...noone mentioned BJ_M.....I find that real odd...and i've personally seen BJ_M answer a very high percentage of the most complex posts regarding the extremely technical questions.

I agree with Vitualis as well..i've seen them answer the same type..but
BJ_M is at the top too.

Adam has given me excellent advice on numerous occasions too...those three are probably 1, 2, & 3...and not in any specific order. No coincidence they are mods...huh?

    Oh....and TGPO TOO......SHHHHEEEAAATTTTTT!

And the best NON-MOD biggest helpers I would say are guys like DJRUMPY & SLK001.

I agree with all those mentioned and anyone that takes the time to help someone. The one I want to add, is Mkelly. When he talks, I listen.

What can I say? With recent events I am very positive towards everything at the moment.

Anyway, back to the topic, I also include BJ_M. A big help when it came to shopping around for a digital projector.

  18. Hmm.. let's see:

#1 My cousin is getting married soon.

#2 My best friend is coming back up from Melbourne for a month whilst his parents go overseas.

#3 University is getting decent in terms of subjects and people.

#4 I just spent last weekend relaxing down the coast.

#5 I just spent the night hanging out with the girl I like.

But I don't want to hijack the topic so lets get back to the thanking of people who help the most.

#2 My best friend of five years is seeing my ex-girlfriend.

#3 I hate my damn job, and it's just getting worse.

#4 I haven't been on holiday since a rainy weekend in '99 in Skegness.

#5 I always spend the evening hanging out with my ex-girlfriend because we still live together

Not with that used kharma. Recycled things are supposed to be just as good as the original. But with used kharma you do not know what you are getting. King John used some some of that used kharma, and turned into Tgpo.

Yeah. Did anyone besides me notice that King John's posts end right about where Tgpo's begin? Anyway, I broke the case open when Tgpo apeared in his bikini. King John was rumored to do that and wander down to the local YMCA and...well, the rest of the story violates the obcenity policy of this forum.

    lol!

There was some overlap. KJ had been here much longer than me, but I made it to moderator about a week before he did.

Well, there was a metamorphosis, so the speak. Kind of reminiscent of Stevenson's Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Tgpo's and KJ's personalities battled for control of the body until Tgpo's carried the day.

  29. May I vote too ?
For me, i've always recieved great and immediate help from Adam, Baldrick and Vitualis (and others too! i've thanked all of you in my guides!) as all i've learned came from them.

Which is why I always keep the guides free, so I can give back what I have learned, so others can learn from it.
    Email me for faster replies!

  30. Back on track, BJ_M has helped me with an obscure thing or two, so have many others.
It is getting to the point that you only have to ask about the really weird, since a search will almost always get you pointed in the right direction.
Just what is this reality thing anyway?
