    Error 500--Internal Server Error
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
    10.5.1 500 Internal Server Error

The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.

  6. Be sure to shop around. I spot checked some of their digital camera prices and was not impressed. Could be dealers are trying to move their E80H machines in anticipation of the 100 showing up. Fortunate for you!

  7. Yes, I did see the 100 at my local Fry store. But did not see the price yet. I am sure it is going to run in the hi 900's.

  8. There are 3 websites selling the e100 for $775 $780 and $799. That's the lowest I have seen it.

  9. 6th ave has been really discounting stuff lately, I hope they stay in business.
buydig.com usually has great prices too. 80 gigs is with lowest resolution & 40 gigs is LP mode.

If you're just using it to record tv programs, you don't need a recorder, get snapstream.com 's software to do the same thing on your computer. Tons of features, its not free, but there is a trial.

  10. The only diff between e80 and e100 is the dv input and a biger HD. I use the s-video and audio to record my dv camera onto the e80, and it has the same quality. I have never record more than 5 hours in xp mode (18 hrs total) anyway, so, 80gig is plenty... to me.

If you can live with that, the difference in price sure are in favor of the e80.

  11. What is the dubbing speed for the e80? Is it the same as the e100?
Thanks in advance for any information.

  12. E100 also has picture thumbnail menus and e80 does not. I wonder if they would ever have a firmware upgrade for the e80 to incorporate thumbnail menus.
