  1. Could it be that after adding a label to a burned dvd disk (+rw), it is impossible to play it on a stand alone dvd player? the problems are: video freezes and no control on the player (Marantz DV4100).

    Yes. Search elsewhere in these forums for threads on this topic. Some people have switched to hub labels. My preference is the good old Sharpie.

  4. Hey Avi you can go to Surething.com to pick-up some hub labels or Americal.com and try the No-wobble labels.

    They are small diameter labels (about 1- 1/4") that cover the 'hub' (usually the clear or different colored center) of DVDs and CDs. I think DVD people prefer them because they are light and close to the center and thus less likely to be installed off center an cause a wobble in the disc. Thanks to XXL for saving me the trouble of finding a good source for you.
