using MMC 7.1 when i start TV the video box is all garbled. If i go into windows display properties and change ANYTHING ex. change from 16bit to 32bit trucolor and return to MMC the video is clear. sound may or may not be working but if it isnt i can change to s-video and back to cable and i will get picture and sound. so i get it to work, but kinda backwords... So i obtained a copy of POWERVCR II 3.0 Deluxe and when i start it up, video is perfect. If I start it after a fresh reboot i will normally have sound, but otherwise it will be silent. If I capture some video and play it back it will work perfect but when i go back to monitor the live feed i wont have sound. NOTHING will get me the sound back in powervcrII. ANY ideas why i am having so much trouble? I am using WIN XP on a P4 1.5 ghz, 256mb ram. nvidia gforce2 mx. When i installed the drivers, XP said they didnt pass the signature test, but i installed them anyway, and i have to imagine they were correct because i get the board to work(eventually) ANY help would be greatly appreciated!

  2. if I open virtualdub for capture then close it and open it again I will have no sound, always been like this.

before a capture open MMC then close it again and sound should be back for other capping apps.

for the display, i am not sure, havent had this problem.

also make sure you test a bug where the tv wonder will not be in stereo unless you run MMC prior to another cap program. ie after a reboot if you just open a cap program like virtualdub it may open with mono audio. if you open MMC first then other app, it will be stereo.
