  1. hi, i follow all the steps to convert anime avi to dvd.. but the subtitle only shows Half..not full.. i set to full screen (keep aspect ratio) in tmpegnce.. plz help. should get the setting to others?

    thats due to overscan. try not to put them too close to the edges.

  3. As the last guy said, it is overscan, where your TV does not dosplay the entire picture.

    I normally resize the picture to add a black border. Under Tmpgenc use the 'Video Arrange Method' , Center(Custom Size). Depending on your output (VCD, SVCD, DVD) specifiy a size smaller than your output resolution. This size varies from TV to TV. I normally do NTSC VCD for anime and use a size of 320x220 for VCD (instead of 352x240).

    I have seen places recommed 3-5% of the picture size for the black border.

    i trying to convert to DVD. what custom size u recommand.?

    probably 700x460? every tv handles overscan differently.

  7. I'm converting from an .ogm to an SVCD, so should the value be based on the svcd (480x480) or the original source?
