playing a small video clip after pressing "play" b

how can i do that?
for xmple:
there is a background movie clip and when i press "play" another movie clip will play and follow him the movie it self...

I am assuming this is for a DVD that you are making. When you author the video with, for example, movie factory2, you can make an intro clip before you get to the movie. If while in the movie from when the press play, you can "daisy chain" to movie clips together (not join them into 1 clip).

I think I am confused by your question. What apps do you have to author with?

It sounds like you're saying that the menu is a motion menu, but before the main movie plays, you want to have a small clip play before going into the actual movie.

If so, then you would link the play to the small clip, then link the ending of the small clip to the main movie. A good authoring tool like TMPGEN Author or DVD-Lab can do this.

for xmple in the Matrix Reloaded DVD when you press the "play" button
a small clip is playing than the movie.
Another question:
can DVD-Lab do this:
Main menu with motion menu (video clip running in the background)
while the nevigation buttons are animated (when pressing them it will change color or picture etc.)
?
