I was given 2 vcds that I was going to burn to cds but ran out of blanks.
I have a A05 and lots of DVD-R discs around, so is there an easy way to copy the vcds to dvds?
I know I can drop the mpgs into a dvd package but they all want to convert the files taking up lots of time.
Could I somehow make a BIG vcd and copy both mpgs from the seperate vcds renaming one avseq001 and the other avseq002 etc?
Is there some easier way that just buzzed over my head that I didn't think about?
BTW, I want to watch the videos on my home dvd set Pioneer 343 which plays vcds easily.
If your wondering why I don't just watch the originals, its because I had to give them back and I just have the iso on my drive. The iso stuff is the easy part, I can extract each mpg easily...
Thanks ahead of time...
You are in breach of the forum rules and are being issued with a formal warning. Copying a friend's disc is a breach of copyright and not covered by "fair use". If you like the movie so much, I suggest that you either watch it at your friend's house, or consider buying a copy of it for yourself. As to the technical aspects of your question (for example, if you bought the original), they are covered in the posts below).

Basically you just re-encode the audio to 48khz, and then author as normal. It's not a huge ordeal. I've done it several times. One potential problem thou is that not all NTSC standalones support mp2 audio (the DVD spec calls for ac3 or pcm only). Most do (say 95% plus) thou so it shouldn't be a problem. -
