Is the copy identical. Physically no, because you are compressing the data down to get it on a 4.7 gb disk. I have yet to be able to tell any loss of picture quality or sound from the original versus the copy. This is my experience after about 1 year of backing up movies. The bigger factors will always be your media and set top DVD player. Bottom line is that any difference seen or heard will be up to your eyes and ears. You'll have a hard time comparing the two (the original and copy).

Here is my opinion...if you spelled the entire word YOUR instead of UR, you would look like less of an idiot.
Oh, and Intervideo's DVD copy program is the worst of all possible options. Same can be said of their DVD player software.

First off, people like you who post should be banned. If you don't have anything of value to add, move on. You must obviously own a Dell. I have been building high end computers for the past 12 years. I have 8 in the house and all run every piece of software without a hitch. To make a statement like that only proves and shows your lack of knowlege and ability. I have purchased several Intervideo products and have not had a problem. I do not use DVD Copy to back-up a lot of movies. I have used it mainly for DivX conversion. That said, you are another one of those kids, who hang out on this site, don't own the products and probally are best to go and hangout on Kazza and steal what you can since you don't have an income to match your mouth. Your posts will cease.
