OK , The movie in question is The Country Bears, The problem is, Using Various Ripping tools which all work fine i get the VOB Files. Using DVD2AVI the movie starts Approx 10 min into it, But the audio track is fine.

I have experienced the above 3 times now and have given up.

I have also tried DVDX and this works fine but the audio is extremely poor, very crackely.

Hope i have made this clear, any help would be appriciated.

Just to rule out human error, can you try your conversion with DVD2SVCD (www.dvd2svcd.org). It automates everything so all you have to do is set up a few items and then it will convert over to whatever the final format is and should play fine in your standalone.

After you have tried that, please post back if you are still having problems.
