frezzing

Im hoping someone can help me here i am trying to burn a divx i downloaded to dvd i have used tmpgenc to encode to mpeg and then ulead movie factory 2 to create the dvd dirs and then nero 6 to burn but i keep getting frezzing pictures big blocks and loss of lip sinc towards the end of the film like the last 10 min when i used roxio 6 to burn the files it started frezzing about 30min b4 the end anyone have any ideas why this is happeing all my mpeg file works fine

For starters, use GSpot from the TOOLS section to ensure you have all of the necessary codecs installed. Just because you can play the AVI file, doesn't mean you have the necessary codecs installed to properly decode the video. Next, manually play the AVI in Media Player, and verify that the end of the AVI is in sync. If it is in sync when played, and you have all of the necessary codecs installed, then you probably have a corrupt avi file.
