I have a sony TRV-27, Win2k with latest updates, Via chipset 1394 firewire card, Athlon XP 2400, nforce 2 mboard, 1gig DDR ram, WD 120GB 8meg ram HD.
When I use ScenalyzerLive build Nov 15 2002 11:49:33 to capture DV from the camera via firewire somehow the audio gets out of sync by about 1 sec for every 30 mins captured. This is driving me nuts.
While I capture to DV type 2 I have nothing else running, all other programs closed. The 'keep dv audio in sync' box is checked in SClive but it doesn't help. It doesn't seem to matter if it is checked or unchecked. The camera is set to 16 bit audio instead of 12. I never have any frames dropped. Just this audio sync problem.
If I use the pixela software that came with the camera I don't have this issue but the picture quality of the captured DV just doesn't seem all that good. I'd like to be able to use SClive. I'm looking to make the highest quality SVCD's possible so have been using SClive to capture then TMPGenc. The out of sync happens during the capture since I notice the problem when viewing the captured Avi with power dvd. It later shows up on the tv when the SVCD is played with any DVD player.
Any suggestions?
