I use DVD Picture Show to create VCDs with slideshows - everything is fine and I have a disc for every year, then slideshows for different events.
I have a DVD writer now and want to use the larger capacity to have menus on the DVD, one for each year, then the slideshows under the main menus.
I can't seem to do this in DVD PictureShow - does anyone know packages that will allow this with still image slideshows?
Thanks

I just got started recently and I've been using Sonic MyDVD. I made a DVD of my daughter's wedding using it. The DVD had a 9 slideshow menus, and 1 video. 4 slideshows and the video are on the the first menu level and 5 more slideshows are on a sub menu. They are all motion menus if you choose and the background is a motion background. All the slideshows had music attached.
One thing to look out for is that the audio is re-encoded to PCM format meaning it's not compressed. So more room is taken up for audio than is necessary. Also, don't use the mulitple copy feature when burning. There's a bug that will destroy the second copy. Just make one copy at a time until they get the problem fixed.
PS: Forgot to mention; go to the Tools section on the left of this page and look for DVD Author tools. You'll find several; some free some not with comments from users.
