Use Decrypter, just rip the main movie files.

Next use IFOedit to create your IFO and BUP files. If you ripped those also delete them and let IFOedit create new ones. Make sure you region free and get VTS sectors of your IFO while in IFOedit.

Now you should have all the files that you need, create a folder called VIDEO_TS and copy your ripped VOB files and your created IFO and BUP files into the VIDEO_TS folder. Make sure the VIDEO_TS folder is in the root directory of which ever drive, meaning c:\VIDEO_TS

Next download IMGtools from doom9.net and create an image file of the VIDEO_TS folder.

Next open Decrypter and select mode>ISO>write and burn it.

When finished and you insert the DVD into your stand alone the movie will just begin, you will have just the movie, no menu's, no extra's, nothing else....just the movie.

You can also strip out alot of stuff while in IFOedit but I'm not writing a tutorial on IFOedit.

I think I'm pretty accurate on everything, I'm not 100% sure, it's been a while. The only DVD I that backed up just the movie on was my very first DVD backup, since then I back up the whole DVD, menu's, extra's and all.

I just use one program. DVD X COPY Xpress, one click and BAM, your done, have backed up tons of movies with this program. Great program for just the movie. Usually takes me less then 25 minutes to rip and burn the movie. I burn them onto Princo 4x white tops, never had a coaster or had them stutter or anything on me out of about 500 burns.

Look at either DVDShrink or DVD2One, but if you ever become concerned with the quality on the very large movies check out my guide, which is an easy way to use CCE. Just remember that CCE takes time unlike DVDshrink and DVD2One, but the quality of the end product is much higher on some movies.
