ok i had bought the DVD 007 Die Another Day, but my nephew, god damn it messed up my dvd, so i am downloading the movie in kazaa, its a total of 1.4 GB and well size doesnt matter the more the better. i do have a fast connection, but uhhh in the beggining of the movie it says "THIS SCREENER HAS BEEN ELECTRONICALLY CODED TO ASSIST IN TRACKING ILLEGAL DUPLICATIONS. UNATHORIZED DUPLICATIONS OF THIS SCREENER IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN." so what does this mean. i never download movies, so does that mean i cant burn the movie as a cvd, or i can but just dont distribute illegal copies?

Unlees you have some sort of permission from the producers of your movie, I do not see how you can legally make a copy. The law allows you to make a copy of your DVD, so you can loan the copy to your nephew so he can ruin it, and not your original. If I were you I would try to see if I can find a service to restore it, if possible. You have no legal rights to copy that screener.

I think for a small fee, the production compnay will replace your damaged DVD. I think I would go that route instead of the downloading from a P2P.
