Hi, I wanted to know if anyone know how to make moving pictures, I was making a wedding dvd for a friend and seen a demo video with moving pictures and wanted to add that to his dvd, this might not be the right place but people at this site know something about everthing.
Thanks in advance to all that reply.

moving pictures ? like picture in picture ?
you can do that easy in After Effects and Vegas and Main Actor and many other NLE and compositors ..
How you do it depends on the program .. -
You need to be a little more specific.
you mean you want still images moving in the video? most video editing software can import still images, and better video editors will allow you to move it around the screen.
I use Vegas Video for editing, so I use the Track Motion controls to move stills from place to place. Pretty easy once you get the hang of it, but it does require reading the manual and playing around a bit.- housepig

Okay here I go I do not want picture in picture, you take a still picture the video fade in to the picture say it zoom in on the picture then fade out and fade in with another pic and say that pic pan left to right then fade out and so on.

pinnacle expression on instant cd/dvd 7.0
does that on your slide show dvd or vcd
you have set that though in the options -
most any video editor should allow you to do this.
some will make it easier than others - I used to use Premiere and AfterEffects, and you can certainly do it with those apps, but I had a hard time with the workflow and process. I now use Vegas Video, and it's pretty easy to do.
You should check the Tools section, download some of the Video Editors that are listed, and try them out - one will fit the way you want to work.- housepig

Or, if you dont have thoes programs but do have Windows XP you can use Windows Movie Maker 2 to create a 'movie' of pictures with different transition effects, if this is what you ment rather than 'moving pictures'.
