  1. I finally got my Canopus ADVC-100. Hooked it to my PC and no problem detected (thank god!).

I'm trying to capture VHS from VCR using ScenalyzerLive and I have a question: when play back the clip I capture, why is there a scenalyzerlive logo flashing once in a while on the bottom left of the clip? Is it because I haven't bought the software yet?

  2. Yes, that is a limitation of the trial version. Once you purchase it, the logo will be gone.

I use the same program with my ADVC 100 and I love it.

  3. I know this software does not allow you to modify brightness, color, or volume. But how about resolution?

I thought when I first opened the software, I was able to select which capture resolution I want to set it at (or maybe it's my imagination). But somehow I can't seem to find it again. Went File > Options and checked all the tabs...still can't find a place where I can change the resolution.

Also - does anyone here have any good tips when using scenalyzerlive? I selected Type2 DV-avi file and 44,1 kHz 16 Bit. Anything else I need to do that may improve quality?

The small red one? That shows the active clip currently being captured. If you haven't bought the program yet, there should be a large logo right smack in the middle of the already captured clip/s or when editing. Good insentive for buying the software.

Yes it does. All of those can be adjusted. Click on the settings button. Unfortunately they can't be adjusted on the fly.

This is a great little proggie. I use it exclusively for capture.
