When is the search going to be fixed

using the search feature just now is hopeless anyone any ideas when it will be fixed

The google search works ok for now. The search is not exactly broken, but its a stress on the server. Currently the number of people using the board and using the search would hurt the boards performance so its disabled.

Solution? I dunno, thats Baldricks territory.

The google search only has old post, nothing recent...

I enabled the search when we have few visitors. It will be automatically disabled when we have too many visitors that it can handle.

I'm going to upgrade the server in a few days and then I should be enable renable the search all the time...hopefully.

I also added the google link when our search works. Just do a search and click on the google-link. It may be good when you don't get any hits at all or if you want to use " " or something.

What kind of upgrade do you have to do? Maybe some one has what you need to upgrade with. Maybe I do. What do you need?

Out of my league. Sorry. Thought if you needed RAM I could help, but not w/ processors faster than what I'm running, and MP rated to boot. And my RAM is outdated, too.

Would deleting TGPO avatars enable the forum to run a bit quicker

It is actually mushkin's server and it is located in their server roooom. In exchange for banners can I rent it and do whatever I like with it.

I find that when I want to publish a URL
a new feature oif the site makes it impossible

That is, If the intended URL has as a component some piece that you sense a a hot link, it doesn't work
