I was wondering because I have had nothing but trouble trying to backup Terminator 2. What I finally did was use Any DVD so that I could use Nero or RecordNow to copy the DVD. Only problem is that I don't have a clue how to split it or compress it to fit onto one disc. Any tools or suggestions here would be a BIG help.

Well the prob. seems to be with the dvd. I do get read errors in almost every prog I have tried. I am now going to try DVDXCOPY Express to see if I can go this direction. I'll check back G shocker.

If you get read errors... it could be that the disc has... errors.

  5. use DVDdecryptor...and make sure in options to UNCHECK "multi-angle processing"

also, be sure to play the movie in a software DVD player (i.e. winDVD/powerDVD) for a couple of minutes right before you're about to rip.

Thanks a lot everyone for all of your comments on T2. It must be a very complex DVD since even DXCExpress had probs. too. I managed to get it finally using DXC Express, although it only gave me the theatrical movie.

I think I will try decryptor again as poopyhead has suggested just to see if I can rip the whole damn thing myself.

    Thanks again. :P
