  1. I have a film which is NTSC 29.976 FPS and i need to burn it on a DVD for viewing on a PAL standalone DVD Player ASAP.

Can anyone point me to any guides on bringin the framerate down without all the jerky playback.

    Thanks in advance

Use TMPGEnc to convert it. It shouldn't be jerky.......I hope. It might be since it will drop frames. You can also tell it to Do not framerate conversion in Advanced. then usegoldwave or Besweet to shorten audio.
