Everytime I boot up, I get 3 errors of "Windows can not open this file:
TFTP428, TFTP 1972, TFTP564. Twice in the last 30 minutes, an error like "windows terminate authority- remote prodedure call (RPC)-service terminated".

I think this is caused by trying to remove a program manually (file by file) because i could not find it in "Add/Remove Programs". But, I found the program seemingly intact when I "explored" in programs.
My tech support will not help me, as this is software-related. Can someone tell me if I am right that what I did is causing this? Can I safely remove the entire program from where i found it? I have looked at all files there and cannot find an uninstaller. I WOULD restore to a later date, but...it was set not to create a restore point!!! Any advice would be great.
    Thanks

Found the TFTP files in the startup and deleted them. But, still left is webdav? Any ideas what this is and how to get rid of it? It will not allow me to delete it out of the startup.
    Thanks

  3. I cannot really help you solve the problem as I do not have an answer. But I do have some info you may use.

The Remote Procedure Call service (RPC) that appears to be terminating, is vital to Windows opperating correctly. Many, many other services depend on it. If whatever you did is causing that to terminate, you have a serious problem. I would not do any mission critical work on that computer.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I suggest if you do not find an answer on how to fix it, you should re-install Windows to make sure that service works.
