  1. Here are some DVD blank media flyer ads for Sunday, August, 3:

    Best Buy--Fuji, DVD-R, 50 pack, $1.40/each after instant rebate.
    Office Depot--Phillips, DVD+R,buy 2 get 1 free 15 packs, $1.20 each at the regitster.
Office Max--Khypermedia, 10 pack slim case, $1.00 each at the register.

There is an extra added benefit to North Carolina residents: this is the last day for the Sales Tax Holiday, and I think these products would qualify because they are computer storage media.

In my area, East TN, Office Max has Imation 25 pk for $2.00 each. I looked at the DVD media section of this site and from what I can tell the Office Max and Office Depot (Phillips) media are 2.4x media. Don't know if this matters to anyone but FYI.

Flaystus how do you know they're TAIWAN FUJI's?
    and not Taiyo from Japan?

can you tell from the outside?

and those made in TAIWAN have shown as RITEK, no?
thus they should be 2x unless in the A03 1x

Are the office depot after mail in rebate or is it instant rebate, and how much is a pack of phillips dvd+r 15 pack?

The phillips are on sale for 26 bucks a pop but if you buy 2 you get a third free. My 3 came to $57 but they did charge tax here in texas on tax free weekend.

I don't know if this is in the Sunday papers or not, but I bought a 25-pack of Memorex 4X DVD-Rs at Staples last weekend for $49.95. The regular price was shown as $59.95. I know people have bad-mouthed Memorex/CMC media here before, but so far I have not had any bad experiences with them.

Staples.com is still selling the 25-spindle of 4x Memorex DVD-R disks for $49.98 (Sorry, I was off by 3 cents before.). They also list Imation 4X DVD-R 25-pack for $49.94. They usually have the same items and prices available in their stores.

Yea, and those Philips/CMC disks are excellent. They are CMC manufactured...but surprisingly excellent quality. I have a feeling CMC uses a better quality dye on the PHilips disks then they do on many others they produce, INCLUDING Verbatim.

    Didn't have a single coaster with them..and burned 75....definitely a great deal.
