I can't fully open the page either. It's trying to open up, but it stops after only the top-third or so opens.

  9. Go to:

    www.cdcovers.nl

    rather than "cc" try "nl".

the site looks different, but the content is all there

  11. Good God, at least one pop-up every five seconds! Also they seem to have an excess of German covers, so maybe this is an additional site to the ".cc" version rather than a replacement for it.

I can live with all the pop-ups at the "nl" site, although there are a lot. I just can't find the couple covers that I'm looking for ... they're only available in German.

  13. That site is terrible with the pop-ups and the low quality covers. I will never use that site. I need cdcovers.cc to come back up or i might have to go to www.dvdcoverart.com and pay. Who knows we'll see.

Those scans look horrid!! Less compression on those covers would be better, but it'll do until the site comes back.

  15. I've been vistin cdcovers.cc periodically to see if it's back up. I just let my browers sit for awhile and came back later and it was loaded, although it took along time. Does anyone know or have contact with anyone running the site and know what the hell is going on. It's a great site and provides a great service to all of us who backup our media collections. I'd hate to see this site go under and would just feel better if I knew these problems were only temporary.

Fatal Flaw - I was curious too. I saw that cdcovers.cc does have a forum, which ironically is working just fine. There are a few posts about server problems that crashed the site a couple of weeks ago. Other than that, just a couple of people who are posting that they currently can't get on ... no announcement about the specific problem or estimated time for a solution though.
    I read this from www.cdcovers.cc/forums.php

  17. After further looking into cdcovers.cc i've found that i can get on. It just takes an insane amount of time to load a page. Most of the time it takes over 5 minutes. While this doesn't make the site unuseable it's a pain in the ass. I don't know if they're just expiriencing extemely high traffic or if there's some server problems but i hope whatever it is gets fixed soon.

  18. We need to just start treating CdCovers like "encoding".

Click on the site, go to bed, by morning it will be up.
