    To BJ_M:

So, you can find out my IP address and where I am located. Did you know I am accessing this web page on two computers at the same time. You stated this computer I am using Windows 2000 is correct and using IE6 as also correct.

The other computer as stated as running Windows and this one as Windows 98 using IE6. On both computers the IP address as the same using shared Internet access on a network.

Do you know my ISP and how much do you about me? Did you know I just finished DVDRHelp.com on the other computer and now using a Windows 98 computer? Privacy issues here?

Now I am trying out this test using Netscape and the version stated as incorrect.

It says version 5 and not so. My Netscape version is the updated 7.1.

Great test but not perfect though.

Chriscjgs - i am finding out nothing , each person only see's what thier browser reports as to version and your own IP .. no one see's it but you..

This same general method is useed by 1000's and 100's of advertisers who place a 1 x 1 pixel image on thier web page or pop up or in their http email and with out you even clicking on anything they know your location and OS and connection speed etc etc ... .

I was only testing how it worked - that why i used this test section which i believed no one ever read anyway ...

i was also testing wrapping URLs in a wrapper .. which i see works for apple and pc ...

Oh yeah, very nice. I'm guessing it read my Safari browser as Netscape because of the underlying core.
