  1. Can anyone give me any advice on what a good tool would be to use to assemble a bunch of cuts off of a DVD?

I have a non-encrypted DVD. I would like to use software to set a bunch of in/out points and then rip to a disk image that I could then burn to another DVD (or straight to my burner if possible). This would be a "best of" type of DVD (about 15 minutes of a 2 hour DVD from 5 seperate places on the DVD).

Any way to do this easily? I tried looking through the tools section but not alot of comments to tell if the software was any good.

    Thanks,

  3. fyi - Found a potential solution on doom9 that was pretty cool.

Using DVDShrink, in re-author mode you can bring the titles in more than once and set an in/out point for each time you bring it in, then rip the image.

I tried this and it worked in general. However, because every time you bring the title back in to the re-author window, it creates a new title on the finished DVD. When I burned it and played it back on my standalone, every time it switched to a new title there would be 1-2 second pause.

Really cool use of DVDShrink though.

Anyone have any ideas how to combine all the titles into one main title?
