    befor the burning i need to check if the file is vcd format?
    even if i convert it with TMPGEnc(i converted a file into
    mpeg format).

    What are you useing to burn the vcd. Nero checks to make sure your mpeg is compliant if the compliant box is checked. If it's not compliant it will ask you if you want to re-encode the video before burning and it will do this.
