  1. What dvd media should I get for a pioneer 106? I tryed the 4x Datawrite disks (Datesafe media) but when it plays the movies it vibrates the dvd player! Which dvd-r disks should I get and from where? im in the uk

  2. First of all, if the disc vibrates in the player the disc can't be balanced - send it back and get a replacement as it's clearly faulty !

    SVP do a sample pack of DVDR media for not a lot of cash that might be worth you checking out. You can find them at http://www.blankdiscshop.co.uk.

    I am a fan of their Nan-Ya media, their Ritek G03 / 04's, and when they have them, the grey topped Datawrite Classics and e-Proformance. Your mileage may vary, but my Sony player is very fussy about its media, and those all work fine.
