    Hello,
    I received a dvd from Europe,(family wedding). Since its from Europe I assume its in pal, my question is does anyone know how can I find out if it is pal, and how can I convert it to ntsc ? Dvd plays fine in the computer, will not play in my regular dvd player.

    Is the DVD a DVD±R ?

    Have you tried other (ntsc) dvdr's on your dvd player and they work?

    I'm pretty sure the Wedding DVD is 25frames/second Interlaced PAL.

    Trying to convert it to 23.97 frames progressive NTSC
    maybe is a good way of handling it.

    Demux the sound and slow it down 5% with Nero wave editor.
    Remux it back.
