This probably isn't the place to ask this but I'm not sure where to go. I had been using ME and switched to XP Home Edition because I was told that its better for capturing video. The only problem that I'm having is that I had used Microsoft Works on ME to to do some word processing and saved them to disk and when I switched to XP there's no Microsoft Works program to open up these programs. Does any one know how I can open up this saved documents or any program that might work to open them up. PLEASE HELP!

Hello,
The immediate thing that springs to mind is to reload MS Works under xp - this will restore the program files and restore the file associations so that xp will know what application to start up when you double-click on a works-formatted file.
Cheers,
B.
PS - www.computing.net is also another good forum for this sort of software-related problem===============================
