    I was wondering if any company makes a portable tv tuner and antenna that I can attach to my portable DVD player and take on the go with me

    The Direct TV box is portable, you will have to take the satalite dish with you and re-align it at your new location. Probably also need a power converter to get the AC. I see people doing it all the time in RV parks.
