im new at this so forgive me

i have alot of movies in divx format and i wont to bern them
in to cds so i can what them on my dvd player (i have eltax
that according to the site can play alot of formats)
my question is to what format i need to convert the .avi file so i can bernd it and watch it on my dvd player?
i have TMPGEenc. (i have all ready convert a movie to mpeg
format and i wont to know if it will work if i bernd it?)

Convert the .avi file in TMPG to .mpeg then burn it using Nero or another VCD capable burning program to disk. This should work in your player. If you need help with the process then their is great help available in the guides to the left hand side of this site
