  1. What's the best beer you've ever had?

Mine was a home brew that I made a couple of years ago. Honey Porter

The best store bought is probable a tie between New Belgium 1554 and Samual Adams Boston Lager

I drink Miller Lite the most. I haven't had a beer yet that I can really remember as the best. My favorite is Gordon Biersch Marzen.

I've never liked beer personally, about the only thing I drink is either mixed drinks or tequila shots.

The only beer I've ever had any of that wasn't awful was Two Dogs Lemon Brew, but it was only a sip so thats hardly a suggestion to try it.

On a side note at almost 28 I can count the number of times I've been drunk on one hand, and none of them has been in the last 3 years, so I'm not really one of those people who drinks very often.

Well it used to be : VB
    http://www.fosters.com.au/beer/about/brands/beer/vic_bitter.asp

Seems they sold out to the Fosters Group . Mind you i've been out of the country for a few years.

Next would have to be a home brew from a B&B in a small town 100 miles north of London. Don't remember the town, but it took all F*#*'n day to drive there .

Since i cannot get either here i settle for Kokanee.

Gonna sound really anal but I can't find anything better than budweiser.
Being a Brit I've tasted a few different types but for me it's top of the list.

You aren't referring to the American Budweiser, by any chance?

Shiner Bach (Texas beer) and Labatt Blue (Canadian beer).

And of course, all time bar favorite, Bud Light.

So going slightly tanget, what spirit do you prefer? Personally, I can never forget a scotch called "Hague". It is relatively unknown. I could never get it again. The last time I drank it was in 1997 but the taste still lingers.

I'm not a big drinker, but when I do it's a Guiness. Thick tar.

Although, I have to say I got the free tour of the Miller plant in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA; after the tour you get to sample 3 decent sized free beers... Miller Genuine Draght, Miller Lite and another one I forget, and the fresh right outta the factory Genuine Draght tasted damn good!

The best beer in the world is Czech Pils(z)ener Urquell and Czech Budweis(z)er (sp?).
Next come Ebisu/Nikko Private Brewery (last one is very expensive 0.2l=800Yen)

nice pint of guiness, or perhaps a tanglefoot. known on occasion to drink strongbow. although the last time must have been like 5 years ago!

Spirits are vodka and baileys. great together actually! or a nice blue lagoon cocktail, a vodka and redbull or perhaps vodka and coke. it made me laugh, i caught a TV show aired in the US still with ads in. i saw a red bull ad identical to the one in the uk, apart from the voices! don't know which came first, but it got re-recorded for the different territory. wonder if that happens often?

Hmm... at the moment I don't really have one. It used to be Vodka but after a few bad experiences I think my Vodka drinking days are over (for awhile anyway).

  26. In St. Paul Minnesota, USA there is a small brewery call Summit Brewing. My favorite beer is Summit Extra Pale Ale. Draft is best.

    I also like Sierra Nevada.

Sam Adams is pretty good as well.

The best beer I've had is a cold Bud Light in Paradise, MI, after walking through Tahqamenon Falls State Park last August in 35C. I'm sure it tastes like piss any other time, but on that day and in that place it was the best.

Normally I only drink beer when I'm out with friends - at home I drink wine or good rum.
    Regards,

    Rob
