  1. I had a divx file and ran it through vdub - checked it for errors, seperated
the audio. Then I fired up TMPGenc, encoded the first half, burned it with
nero and gloated when I popped it in the DVD player - played flawlessly,
great audio, sharp resolution, nice colors. So a couple of days later I
decide that maybe the movie would be more interesting if I were to watch
the second half of it. So I take the file and it's audio and fire up TMPGenc
(doing and using everything I did the first time around), but this time
it's impossible to find an accurate begining for the second half because
the preview screen at the "source range" won't show me any of my movie.
And even after guesstimating the begining and starting the encoding
process, all I get is the terrible, terrible blackness (while watching the little
viewer or choosing the preview option from the pull down menu).

    Can anyone help?[/img]
