    It is easier to buy a region-free DVD player that has a PAL to NTSC converter.

    For example:
    Philipps DVD 634
    Philipps DVD 724
    Apex 1100

    See DVD hacks on the left side of the screen.

    If your goal is to play it on a computer, use DVDdecryptor to remove the region protection.

    It is also possible to make your DVD-ROM Region free. See www.rpc1.org
