    Hello,

I’m making Video CDs from mpg files which I capture by Mpegator, a real time mpeg1 capture card. Mpg is the extension of mpeg-1 files. I want to learn what the format, what the extension of mpeg-2 files is. I mean what mpeg-2 file extension is on hdd after a real time capture. I don’t mean VOB file on DVD.

    Thank you for your interest.

  2. MPG also if I'm not mistaken. If you demultiplex it you'd have a *.M2V file.
