I have backed up 28 days later and after 2 coasters checked the drive I use for conversion I rip to one drive and convert using IC7 to another seperate drive the drive was showing the pdifiles made by IC7 fragmented even though they were only files on drive I defragged then re burned and everything played fine i have since done more and the same thing happens although 28 days was the only one that didnt burn correctly. anybody else came across this and should I defrag converted files every time.
XP home operating system disks formatted to nfts and both empty

  2. Even although they appear to be the only files, there are hidden system files on your hard drive (also the stuff you put in the recycle does still take up drive space from the drive you deleted them on until you empty the recycle bin). Fragmented files don't matter, it just means if you have a lot of them your computer can run slightly slower but from what your doing that doesn't make a difference.

The 28 days later disk you tried to copy may not have had the copy protection removed properly using DVDDecrypter.

28 days had been ripped ok with DVDdecryptor the only difference between the 2 coasters and the O.K. one was defragging the files The hard drive I convert to has nothing on it apart from a temp folder in the hidden files although it is a partition, the one i rip to is seperate physical drive
