What's the IC7 rule of thumb on size?

For those of you experienced with IC7 and having to set the slider a little oversize...

What is the general rule of thumb on how much you should be able to oversize the IC7 generated image in order to compensate for the normal undersizing that it seems to do?

I like IC7. I'm just tired of wasting the space that could be better used for bitrate.


So all I'm looking for here is how far you push the slider.

An extra .1 or .2 or .3gb?

I normally set it at 4.35-4.36GB

But when setting it that high, don't you get a screen that pops up when IC7 is about to write to disk saying that it the file is too big? What do you click on when that happens?

u just need to get the reg. codes from Mr bass. It will open IC7 up.
I am a perfectionist which means I have to redo IC7 2 or more times to get between 4.35 to 4.37. I avoid using if possible for that reason. I only use it if I want to remove title sets as I find IC7 is easiest and best way of doing it. I can do in IFOedit but it stalls or stops or hangs when entering a titleset which was removed....where IC7 does not do this. I am not an expert at IFOedit so I may have missed something.
