  1. ok guys hoping for a little help here ive been doing my multi,s for about 2 months now all excellent i might add tools i use are smartripper,dvd2avi,vfapi,cce,spruce

    ok most of my multi,s come out perfect but occasionally will hit probs especially with war movies[explosions]. will manage to get 1 of the movies perfect but then the second movie although perfect most of the way through movie will occasionally appear all blocky[fast moving shots].is there an answer to my prob in my quest for perfection.

    i would like to add that i do a multi pass with cce and also use cce gueser for correct size matters.

    any advice would be very much appreciated

    If you are experiencing pixellation during high motion scenes than you have to options. You can increase your overall bitrate, which may or may not be a possibility, or you can try telling CCE to allocate more bitrate to high motion scenes. On CCE 2.5, the version I use, this is controlled by the image quality priority slider. Lower this number to allocate more bitrate to high motion/complex scenes. This setting has a different name and a slightly modified scale in later versions of CCE, and sorry I don't have much experience with these versions. Just read your CCE manual and it should be obvious which setting corresponds to the one I'm talking about.

    Also make sure you have your max bitrate set high enough. I assume you are making DVDs, so your max bitrate should be 9800kbits minus the total bitrate of all of your audio tracks.
