    If your DVD burner supports DVD+RW does it also support DVD+R and DVD+R/W? Thanks.

    That is exactly what DVD-R/W means. Just remember to check the database at left to be sure.

    that's what Tommyknocker is referring to...just type in your dvd player and see which format it supports

    however, it would be a safe bet to assume that if your DVD player supports the RW of a format...it should be able to support the R version of that particular format (CD-R, DVD-R, DVD+R)....not true the other way around thou....
