I'm a newbie to all of this, and I'm having trouble with DVDx. I'm trying to rip a DVD, and I'm using DVDDecryptor to get the VOB and IFO files onto my computer. I then use DVDx to convert these files to MPEG1 or MPEG2, but I can only get it to do one at a time, so I get like a 6 minute block of video rather than a CD full. The DVD Ripping newbie's guide makes it sound like you just provide the first file and it will combine them all, but I only get the first track of the DVD. I hope this is good information; again, I am a newbie, so I am not well educated in the lingo.

you dont need to rip the DVD first. read a DVDx guide at their website. you convert it to mpeg1/2 straight from the cd.
