    Hi Folks

I bought my first batch of media online from SVP communications

The company are very good, but I'd like to shop around before comitting myself to my next big batch of blank disks.

    So:

Which UK DVD-R media retailers (online or on the highstreet) are people using? And which media are they selling? Any feedback would be gratefully received.

I live in Liverpool, so I'd be interested to hear from anyone who's found decent DVD-R suppliers in the Northwest region.

    Cheers
    Louis

I also use SVP, I've had a pack of 25 plain white top 2x DVD-R and all worked perfectly. I'm now on my second pack of ICE white top 4x and still no coasters. All have worked perfectly in my Pioneer A05 and, so far, have played back in every machine I've tried them in (including my daughters cheapo Comet own brand very basic standalone). What more do you want for 79p each!

and the service is good..... I get all my inkjet cartridges from them too.

  4. High street stores will rip you off. Dixons doing 5 DVD-R for £22.99. I got 25 datawriter 4x reds for £20 something they were 67p a disk ex VAT. You are better off with online retailers. I got my datawrites from www.playstationmods.com I have burnt about 5 or 6 with my Sony 510 so they seem to be ok. I have heard that the datawrites are very compatible with dvd players and playstation 2s. I have not tested on either yet.
