I second that!!! Except the LAN party thing, you can do that with some consoles (you are just limited to the number of users).

Though I have to admit, I went out and bought a gamepad to keep the right feel while playing Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. But I still used a mouse to aim. It was just so much easier (and fun!) that way.

P.S. at least add Gamecube. I mean come on, poor Nintendo. They were the king of the hill in the 80s and 90s!!! give them some love they deserve! Ah, the good old NES. Brings a tear to my eye remebering it

Well, I am truly sorry for not adding that option. It really didn't cross my mind since I only have GTA: Vice City and SimCity 4 for my computer. I opologize to any PC gamers I may have offended!

i was in fact deeply distraught and viewing this thread again brings a tear to my eye :P

wats vice city like on the pc- any good or much the same as GTA 3?

Well honestly, Vice City is a lot more fun than GTA3. The graphics are much better too. I don't think there is much difference in performance from PC to PS2 either. I like Vice City a lot...plus I have all the cheats for it and that makes the experience all the more enjoyable.

yeah? cool- personally im saving up for max payne 2, Doom 3 and half life 2. however, doom 3 is going to be unbelievably demanding on all PCs, it will even challenge the top line cards!

And if you get Vice City keep in mind that you can go into buildings, buy properties all over the city, and generally interact with everything a lot more than GTA3. Plus you eventually control the city with the Versetti name. What are the requirements for Doom3 and...this is a dumb Q but it's only for PC then right?

no- it isn;t out yet m8, coming out in Sept (but may get delayed!) there is a leaked demo around but it is only 3 levels long and the levels r v short, but the grapics look stunning!!!!

however, some websites have the doom 3 benchmark (toms hard ware etc)

as far as i know it is only for the pc, but it will be a HUGE hit so no doubt it will get converted to x box etc, although u r gonna need a decent system to play it man!!!

i think it is going to be mainly graphics orientated, it is too early to tell what kind of min specs they need but im guessing 1.5--> 1.8Ghz CPU and anything below a geForce 4 ti 4200 will be pointless! however, even a 4200 will severly struggle- i am going to upgrade my graphics just for doom 3, probably a 9700 or something like that i guess, although the new GeForce FX cards are highly suited to doom 3 so i may get a decent fx card!

im also getting a 2500+ barton and i will overclock it like crazy to 3200+ speeds- but thats mainly for encoding benefits!
