    HI all i hope you can help me

    what is the best video editing program around here??

    i heard that Adobe premiere , speed razor and more r very good

    butt i want to know what the best or near the best

    hpoe you can help

    Premiere is a good prosumer NLE
    Vegas also is good value.

    Of course this is all gonna be a matter of opinion. What are you looking to edit? AVI or Mpeg? or others?

    I use Adobe Premiere for dv and Womble for Mpeg's.

    I've tried Premiere 6 and VideoStudio 6 but the best by far (for my needs) is Vegas 4 both in terms of ease of use and range of features. It is extremely stable (which is more than can be said for Ulead's products) and it responds much faster than Premiere on my 2.1GHz, 1GB RAM system.

    Of course, all I do is edit home videos on DV so it really depends what you're gonna do.

    speed razor requires a targa 2000 card or (in some versions) a sdi card ...

    either way its going to set you back 10grand ...
