  1. After installing Cool Edit Pro, My computer quit recognizing my DVR-A05. I tried uninstalling Cool Edit and nothing changed. Im frustrated to the point of reformatting, but I was wanting to see if you guys had another solution first. Thanks

    I would try uninstalling it from the Device Manager then reboot your PC and see if windows will reconise it.

    If you are running Windows ME or XP, you can use the restore feature. Just go back to a point in time before you installed Cool Edit Pro.
