  1. Is it possible to add changeable tracks and subtitles to SVCD.

I recently been download OGM files and would like to add japan&english tracks + subs.

I used Virtualdub and ripped the video and audio into wave.

so i got 1 video no sound and 2 audio waves , i havnt figured out how to extract subtitles.

SVCD supports up to 2 stereo audio tracks and 4 subtitle sets. I think most players support the dual audio, but not very many properly support selectable subtitles.

To create a dual-audio SVCD you should use bbmpeg to multiplex the video (m2v) and the two audio (mp2) streams.

To add the subtitles you need to convert the subtitle files to submux format and use winsubmux to add them to the MPG file. You'll have to pick CVD or SVCD subtitle format, CVD seems to be a little more widely supported on set-top players.

To extract all the pieces of the OGM file you can probably use OGMDemuxer from http://cyrius.bunkus.org/. If the subtitles are in SSA format I think you can use MaestroSBT to convert them to submux format for winsubmux.

No, but you can use tmpgenc's MPEG Tools to demux the audio and video streams, and then multiplex those with your additional audio stream in bbmpeg.
