  1. Hi!

I've been trying to author a DVD containing of VCD mpg-1's lately. It all went fine until i faced a file that was in 23.976 fps. When I've come up with those files before, I just used to run the pulldown.exe on it, to change it to 29.97 fps. I did that this time also.
The new file played fine in windows media player, no desynchronisation or anything, it also showed 29,97 fps.
However, when I imported the file into Maestro, the file length changed, and Maestro identified it as 17.45 min, when it used to be 21.45 min (I dont remember the exact length, but you get the picture).
This would of course cause audio/video desynchronisation, and I've not come up with a way to solve this.
Any ideas would be very thankful!

As far as I know, pulldown flags are only supported in mpeg2 streams. If you are using mpeg1, then you will have to actually convert the file to 29.97fps. You could use the 3:2 pulldown filter in TMPGenc to do this. Note I am talking about the filter on the advanced tab, not the 3:2 pulldown while playback option on the video tab.
