I just converted an SVCD release (PAL) to NTSC using the below settings in TMPGEnc
Super Video-CD NTSC (MPEG-2 480x480 29.97fps CBR 2181kbps, Layer-2 44100Hz 224kbps)
Then I used NERO to burn the SVCD.
It plays okay on my computer but on my Sony DVP-NS325 it is jerkey (the movie plays but very jerky meaning the video is flickering)
Can anyone help?

I have had this problem - I think it was down to the poor media I was using. I've since changed brand and don't seem to have any more problems.
