Hi,
I have a SVCD which plays fine with PowerDVD on the computer, but when put into my Toshiba SD1300 DVD player, nothing happens at all. It will NOT play. VCD's play fine but SVCD's do not.
Any ideas.....![]()

Did you check to see if your player is compatible? If it is, then possibly your resolution is slightly different, or a different fps, etc. There are a lot of players, that although they may be compatible, are quite picky about what they will, and won't play.
Sometimes, ya just gotta.....umm, what's the word........FART??? -
Yeah I just checked on the Players Guide. It does support SVCD!!
Wonder what the problem is then?Keep it Real !! -
The SVCD resolution is 480 x 576, PAL @ 25 FPS........Do you think I should maybe try to encode at NTFS @ 29 FPS......???
